Laboratory Quality Control Software

January 10, 2014

We have released a new stand alone application for Intervention Tracking. Check It Out Here!

More Secure

Our built-in multi-level security helps keep your facility HIPAA Compliant with respect to patient privacy issues, yet guarantees that information will be available when and where legitimate personnel require it. Since our EHR runs on YOUR network, you always know who has access to your patient data.

More Cost Effective

We have both lease and purchase options to fit every budget. Expense it or treat it as a capital expenditure. Avoid never ending "pay for use" configurations where you sacrifice control of your system, your practice and your data.

More Flexible

Because we have such an extensive catalog of integrated components, we are able to offer a level of flexibility that other vendors can't. Do you want to keep your current investment in Laboratory or Radiology Software? Because these components were not used for our Stage I Certified EHR configuration, we can work with third party vendors and save you substantial amounts in implementation costs as well as on-going costs.

Ambulatory EHR

Two important points to consider

1) There are good reasons to implement an EHR, but ultimately the decision MUST be supported and defensible by good financial reasoning. If the numbers don't work, you need to re-examine your reasoning. HINT: It's far easier to make the "numbers work" with a $10k Stage I certified system than a $40k Stage I certified system.

2) Where is your data stored and who has access to it? With the release of HIPAA v2, the responsibility for protecting patient confidential information is expanded to "cast a wider net". If your data is stored "off-site" at some unspecified location, exactly how many people have access to it and who are they?

Whether you're trying to meet Meaningful Use requirements or just sick of generating, storing, loosing, finding, and copying paper, implementing an Ambulatory EHR can be a "good thing" all on it's own.

  • Less wasteful of resources (space and money)
  • Never loose another chart
  • A patient portal can mean fewer phone calls
  • Shorten the billing cycle with electronic superbills
  • Speed patient care with electronic orders
  • Improve patient safety with electronic prescriptions
  • Supports multiple patient encounters per patient

Electronic Health Record and Meaningful Use

Even though the Federal Government is adding "ToDo" items to your already busy schedule (calculation of quality measures, etc), there's something in it for you as well. By getting your information into an electronic medium (an EHR), you'll be able to utilize that information in new ways that benefit you and your patients directly.

  • Follow up "reminder" lists for medication and labwork related items (PSA, PT, PTT, Glucose, Lipids, etc)
  • Generate and track "Return to Work" forms
  • Generate "Vaccination Information Sheets (VIS)"
  • Generate and track "Referrals"
  • Renew and Review Electronic Prescriptions
  • Allow patients to review lab results over the internet
  • Allow patients to pre-register online
  • Allow patients to book appointments online
  • Allow patients to opt out of HIE participation

These are just a few of the many ways to leverage the capabilities of our Ambulatory EHR.

Are you or your staff apprehensive about the process of implementation? We've been doing this a long time and can share our knowlege and expertise to help make the implementation process a smooth and uneventful process. We do ONE implementation at a time. This insures that YOU and YOUR FACILITY is the center of our attention during the implementation process. We can do this because we're a small company (since 1987) and don't have the overhead associated with many of our larger competitors. Would you rather deal with someone that knows your name or do you want to work with Vivek in Bangalore?

Improved Time Management

Built-In Scheduling and CPOE

Embedded in our Ambulatory EHR is a full Scheduling Component that can manage all of your clinician schedules. With built in Order Communications capabilities, you can order laboratory, imaging, and other procedures right from your Electronic Superbill. Since we use your existing superbill as a template, it will look very familiar to your clinical staff, aiding the implementation and adoption process.
